希少な40年代のアメリカ軍ダッフルバッグを一度解体し、そのヴィンテージ素材を新たなカタチへと再構築した、PPF ORIGINALのバックパック。
テーマは、ヴィンテージモーターサイクル。
古いモーターサイクルに見られるゼッケンナンバーや無骨なディテールからインスピレーションを得て、“No.12”をデザインのアクセントとして落とし込みました。
ゼッケン“No.12”には立体感を持たせるための工夫を施し、コンパクトなサイズながら、しっかりとした存在感のある仕上がりに。
長い年月を経たヴィンテージキャンバスの表情と、立体的なナンバーデザインが重なり、シンプルでありながら目を惹くバッグに仕上げています。
バッグの底面にはブラウンレザーを採用。
ヴィンテージキャンバスとのコントラストによる、落ち着いたツートンカラーが全体を引き締め、無骨さの中にさりげない高級感を加えています。
Scovill DOT BUTTON
ボタンには、Scovill社製 70年代の米軍納入ドット・ボタンを使用。
Blackカラーの“DOT”ボタンで、ソケットとポストにはScovill社のロゴマークが刻印されています。
40年代から現在まで共通する型式のドット・ボタンを使用し、ヴィンテージミリタリーのディテールにこだわって仕上げています。
素材だけではなく、パーツやディテールにまでヴィンテージミリタリーの背景を落とし込む。
必要最低限を詰め込んで、無骨に。
古いミリタリー素材が持つ存在感をそのまま活かしながら、現代のスタイルに合わせて再構築した、PPF ORIGINALのバックパックです。

40’s U.S. Military No.12 Motorcycle Backpack
This PPF ORIGINAL backpack is reconstructed from a rare 1940s U.S. Military duffle bag, carefully dismantled and given a new form.
The design is inspired by the world of vintage motorcycles.
Drawing inspiration from vintage motorcycle racing numbers and rugged mechanical details, the “No.12” number becomes the central design element of the bag.
The No.12 patch has been constructed with added dimension, creating a distinctive three-dimensional appearance.
Despite its compact size, the combination of the vintage military canvas and bold number design gives the backpack a strong and unmistakable presence.
The bottom of the bag is finished with brown leather.
The contrast between the aged military canvas and brown leather creates a refined two-tone appearance, adding a subtle sense of quality while maintaining the rugged character of the piece.
Scovill DOT BUTTON
The bag is finished with a Scovill DOT button from the 1970s, originally supplied to the U.S. military.
The black “DOT” button features the Scovill logo stamped into both the socket and post.
Using a button design that has remained common from the 1940s to the present, we have carefully selected the hardware to stay true to the details of vintage military equipment.
From the original material to the hardware and construction details, every element has been chosen to carry the atmosphere of vintage military gear into a new form.

Vintage materials may contain fading, stains, discoloration, tears, sewing needle marks, previous repairs, and other signs of age and wear.
We consider these marks to be part of the character and history of the material, and incorporate them into the design rather than hiding them.
Because of this, every piece has its own unique condition and appearance.
No two pieces are exactly the same.
