希少な50年代のフランス軍ダッフルバッグを一度解体し、そのヴィンテージ素材を新たなカタチへと再構築した、PPF ORIGINALのバックパック。
長い年月を経たフランス軍ヴィンテージリネン特有の、弾力を残しながらもクタッとした柔らかな質感。
そこに、ランダムにカットしたヴィンテージレザーをフラップとして組み合わせました。
レザーに刻まれたシワや色ムラ、擦れ。
生地に残る文字やサビ跡。
これらをあえて消すことなく、まるで当時からそこに存在していたかのような自然なエイジングとしてデザインに活かしています。
ヴィンテージリネンとレザーフラップのコントラストが生み出すツートンカラー。
無骨さの中に、さりげない大人の高級感を感じられる仕上がりです。
Scovill DOT BUTTON
ボタンには、Scovill社製 70年代の米軍納入ドット・ボタンを使用。
Blackカラーの“DOT”ボタンで、ソケットとポストにはScovill社のロゴマークが刻印されています。
40年代から現在まで共通する型式のドット・ボタンを使用し、パーツにまでヴィンテージミリタリーの背景を落とし込みました。
必要最低限を詰め込んで、無骨に。
古い素材が持つ時間の跡を残しながら、現代のスタイルへと再構築する。
それがPPF ORIGINALのヴィンテージリメイクです。

50’s French Military Two-Tone Leather Backpack
This PPF ORIGINAL backpack is reconstructed from a rare 1950s French Military duffle bag, carefully dismantled and given a new form.
The vintage French military linen has a distinctive character, retaining its natural resilience while developing a soft, relaxed texture through decades of age and use.
For the flap, we selected irregularly cut vintage leather, preserving its natural wrinkles, color variations, and signs of wear.
Faded lettering, rust marks, and abrasions remain on the original fabric, creating a natural sense of aging as if they had always been part of the bag.
The contrast between the aged military linen and leather flap creates a refined two-tone appearance, balancing ruggedness with a subtle sense of sophistication.
Scovill DOT BUTTON
The bag is finished with a Scovill DOT button from the 1970s, originally supplied to the U.S. military.
The black “DOT” button features the Scovill logo stamped into the socket and post.
Every detail, from the vintage material to the hardware, has been carefully selected to preserve the character and atmosphere of vintage military equipment.
